Current Update
5th Annual Pig Roast is completed: Our 5th Annual
Pig Roast was held Saturday, September 26th. This was a hard one for
some of us. It was the first Roast without Harry Hall. He was here in
spirit. As we were setting up our tables early Saturday morning, an
eagle flew slowly down the creek about tree top height. It was if Harry
as watching us! All those here saw it and the comment was "Harry is
here with us"...more

Sad News for the IWA:
It
is with a heavy heart that we want to let everyone know that the
President and Founder of the IWA, Harry Hall lost his battle with
cancer and passed away on Tuesday February 10th, 2009.
Without Harry's guidance and vision to help create the IWA, what we
have today might not still be in existence. His love for the Indian
Head Dam, Perkiomen Creek and the surrounding area will never be
forgotten. We must all make sure to continue our fight to save this
pristine area now in his honor.
For those interested, here is a short video of Harry Hall as the President of the IWA.
Upcoming IWA Meeting:
There will be an
IWA meeting on Sunday March 22nd at 2pm. The meeting will be held at
453 Lower Idian Head Road. For those familar with the area it is across
the creek from the normal location. There are three things to be
covered at the meeting. Number 1, schedule a date for the Fishing Derby
and plan/create the committees to handle the aspects of the Derby.
Number 2, set a date for the pig roast if possible and consider
breaking down the pig roast into committees. Number 3 a message from
Tom Speers as the the future of our next President and where we go from
here. We hope to see you there.
For those that just want to sign the
online Petition...
Best
Regards, IndianHead Watershed Association, Inc.
