Let there be Ice: Everyone
enjoyed the water this past summer - swimming, boating and fishing.
Because of the low temperatures these past two weeks, we have another
way of enjoying the Perkiomen.
After many checks for thickness, there were a lot of people on the ice
the past weekend. Some had on ice skates - make a future Olympic Figure
Skater or National Hockey League player! Some just had on boots or
sneaker. Then again, some enjoyed the sleds pulled behind a lawn
tractor!
There were plenty of falls and plenty of fun had by all who could stand
the cold. Some retired inside for hot chocolate wth red faces and sore
bottoms but will want to be back ou again tomorrow! Click here for links to
pictures of the Ice!
For those that just want to sign the
online Petition...
